Winter's here!

I sat by the slider and watched it snow outside this weekend. It was pretty. And it made me start to think of Christmas.

Mama got our little Christmas tree out of the closet and put it on a table. Soon, she'll put pretty lights and ornaments on it. She also hung up my stocking. I checked it out, but there's nothing in it yet. I can't wait for Santa Paws to come visit and leave me stuff.

How many more bedtimes 'til Santa visits???

Dylan,

There are lots of bedtimes till Santa. My Mom has the pretty paper on the table, and she STILL won't let me play with it. She says that if I am naughty she will call Santa and tell him to give my treats to another kitty.

Molly,

I am sad that Santa Paws is still far away. I want to try to stay awake to meet him this year.

Mama hasn't wrapped any presents yet.

Dylan,

I don't know what a present is but I heard my grandma say she bought me one. I think it might be like a treat but I'm not sure. Hopefully it doesn't involve going to the vet. I don't like the vet because he takes my temperature.

Can you tell me anything else about these presents you are talking about?

Much love,
Bowzer

Oh, Bowzer, presents are wonderful! They are treats or toys and absolutely do not involve the vet.

I got a bunch of presents for Christmas last year. They come from Mamas, and Uncles, and Grandmas, and best of all, Santa Paws, who visits late on Christmas Eve and leaves presents for good doggies, kitties, and bunnies.

My Mom has been buying things on that funny machine that has buttons on it, and a man in funny looking clothes brings boxes.

Bowzer,

Presents come in pretty boxes or bags. If you are good, your Mom might let you play in the box. My Mom says I will have a special supper on Christmas.
